School Project - Helping Blind Children
In year 2019, during middle school Grade 9, Ihtesham was assigned with a community project that consisted of planning and conducting a fundraiser and using that money to buy walking sticks for a blind school. Ihtesham and his team had firstly, after conducting significant research, identified that a majority of the blind population come from a background that consists of financial issues.

After identifying this issue, they decided to host a fundraiser that empowered them to donate resources to a blind school. After identifying the blind school and hosting the fundraiser, they distributed roughly 40 walking sticks with the money that was raised.

This project made Ihtesham realised how large of a section visually impaired individuals are, in this society and how people must help them.
